VISA EXPIRING SOON!

VISA EXPIRING SOON!

We have been getting lots of enquiries regarding people getting their visas expiring soon, cannot depart because of no tickets available or cannot apply another visa because of ‘No further stay’ condition on their current visas.

Below are the steps you should follow if you are in the one of the situations above:

– If you have ‘8503 – No further stay’ visa condition on your current visa and you cannot depart Australia due to travel bans, apply for a waiver of 8503.

– Once your 8503 condition is waived off, apply for another visa in order to stay legally during your proposed period of stay. You will get bridging visa while your application is under process.

– You can either apply for a Tourist visa – subclass 600 onshore or subclass 408 (but in limited circumstances and check your eligibility before applying)

– If your parents visitor visa is expiring soon and they cannot depart due to COVID 19 and travel bans across the world, they might be eligible for other visas and could stay longer with you provided you satisfied the requirements.

Please note this is only a general advice and might not be suitable for your circumstances. Please ask for legal advice before proceeding ahead.
